What to Expect

Walking into a clinic for the first time can feel like a big step. We keep things simple, unhurried and clearly explained. Care at Banstead Chiro Studio follows a clear, structured journey from your first visit through to feeling and functioning at your best. Here’s how it works.

Getting Ready for Your Visit

We will send you a short health questionnaire prior to your Initial Consultation, please complete it prior to your appointment. Wear comfortable clothing for your appointment, avoid stiff and restrictive clothes. Please arrive 5 minutes early if possible.

Initial Consultation (40 minutes)

Your first visit is a 40-minute appointment during which we take a detailed case history of your complaint including how it’s affecting your day to-day life and your past health history followed by a thorough physical examination of the relevant joints, muscles, and nerves. Where needed, we can arrange a referral for X-rays or further imaging ahead of your next visit.

Report of Findings (40 minutes)

At your next appointment, also 40 minutes, we go through your results in full: what we found, what it means, and the care plan we’d recommend. You’ll have the chance to ask questions and understand exactly what the path ahead looks like before deciding how to proceed. Treatment often begins during this session.

Regular & Extended Appointments (20–30 minutes)

Most ongoing visits are up to 20-minute long regular chiropractic appointments, focused on hands-on treatment and tracking your progress. Where a session needs more time — for example, more involved rehab work or a fuller reassessment — we’ll book a 30-minute extended appointment instead.

Your Care Journey

We think about care in four phases, each with its own focus. Most patients move through all four, though the pace is always personal to them.

1. Discovery

This is where we get the full picture — your symptoms, how they’re affecting your life, and what’s been getting in the way of feeling well. By the end of this phase, you’ll have a clear diagnosis and an agreed care plan, along with practical self-care guidance to get started.

2. Relief & Comfort

The early stage of active care, focused on easing symptoms and building momentum. Many patients start noticing real change here — more movement, better mood, and the sense of having a plan that’s working. We check in with a progress review to confirm things are heading the right way.

3. Rebuild & Restore

With symptoms settling, the focus shifts to rebuilding — strength, endurance, flexibility and confidence in what your body can do. This is where rehab exercises, lifestyle habits and a gradual return to the activities you love come into sharper focus.

4. Thrive

The goal of care isn’t just symptom relief — it’s feeling genuinely well. In this phase, patients are typically back to doing what they want to do, with the tools and habits in place to keep it that way. Many choose to continue with periodic wellbeing check-ins to stay on top of things long-term.

What Our Patients Say About Us

I can’t thank Adem enough! He has been treating me for the past year, and I honestly have never felt better or more mobile. His attention to detail, genuine care and extensive knowledge are second to none.

I’m so grateful to have found someone I can completely trust and who always has my best interests at heart. He takes the time to understand what’s going on and never makes you feel rushed. I’ve seen such a positive difference since being treated by him, and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you, Adem!l

I injured myself pretty badly during a motocross race and was worried about how long I’d be off the bike. I started seeing Adem during my recovery, and he made a massive difference.

He really knows his stuff and took the time to work out what was causing the problems rather than just treating the symptoms. The treatment and advice I got from him helped me get my strength and mobility back, and I always felt like I was in safe hands.

I’m now fully recovered and back on the bike competing again, which I honestly didn’t know when I’d be able to do. I’m really grateful to Adem for helping me get back to doing what I love. Would definitely recommend him to anyone dealing with an injury or trying to get back into sport.

I was recommended Adem by a fellow tradesman who had high praises for his care and work. After my initial assessment with Adem, he began treating my issues. I have had chronic pain with back and hip issues for years and I was heading into a disability zone. I was unhappy, worn out and getting progressively worse. Adem had spent his time to listen, explain, assess, diagnose and a plan that has given me back my life. He is a professional and a gentleman. I cannot praise him enough and would recommend his practice to anyone! He is definitely value for money. My family thanks him for his care and effort. He is wonderful in my opinion and I will continue my visits to him as far as I can see. I’m grateful for him.

Kindest regards

I'd been struggling with lower back pain from playing basketball regularly it was affecting my game and my day-to-day mobility. Ansis took the time to properly assess what was going on rather than just treating symptoms, and after a few sessions the difference was night and day. I'm back on the court pain-free. Couldn't recommend him more highly.

Ansis has been a huge help in becoming pain-free and allowing me to care for my family. I struggled with middle back pain from carrying my youngest child and breastfeeding in awkward positions. After a couple of sessions, my pain had significantly improved, and after completing my treatment plan, I had no pain whatsoever. He gave me really good advice on how to build a stronger body through exercise and avoid the pain coming back. I feel better than ever! Can't recommend him enough!
